Kate R. has over 10 years of work experience in the technology industry. Kate began their career in 2011 as the VP of Operations at MyEnergy, a leading energy management platform for the utility industry. In 2012, they joined Sphere as the COO, where their team of computer vision engineers built 360° imaging technology. In 2013, they became the Founder & Managing Director of NOMO Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm that has backed companies such as Expensify, Nest, Better Mortgage, Chariot, Paintzen, AllTrails, and Pry Financial. In 2013, they also joined Expensify's Board of Directors. In 2022, they joined Ponto's Board of Directors, a company that provides the regulatory infrastructure, liquidity, and APIs for currencies worldwide.
