Steven Dover, CISSP®

Steven Dover, CISSP®, has over 15 years of experience in IT and Information Security. Steven is currently working as the Chief Information Security Officer at Nomu Pay since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Innovationeers as a Senior Security & Solution Architect from September 2020 to April 2022, where they focused on establishing security as a part of the business model and implementing a security by design mindset.

Before joining Innovationeers, Steven worked at Wirecard in several roles. Steven served as the Principal Information Security Officer from March 2020 to September 2020, where they aligned global teams towards centralized policies and built the approach to ISMS maturity. Steven also worked as the VP IT Service Management & PMO from August 2019 to March 2020, where they standardized global processes and focused on IT service management and project management. Prior to that, they were the Director of Infrastructure & Information Security Services APAC from November 2017 to August 2019.

Steven also gained experience at Giesecke & Devrient GmbH as an IT Security Manager from March 2017 to October 2017. Steven was responsible for managing IT security in the company during that time.

Earlier in their career, Steven held various positions at Wirecard, including Head of Security Operations from January 2016 to February 2017, where they improved security practices and ensured compliance. Steven also worked as an Information Security Architect from September 2014 to December 2015, where they contributed to the growth of the business by enabling secure operations.

Furthermore, Steven worked at SITA UK as an IT Security Consultant from December 2013 to August 2014, where they upgraded security solutions and managed 3rd party support contracts. Prior to that, they worked as an MIS Security Analyst at SITA UK from January 2006 to April 2013, gaining experience in vulnerability and risk assessment, financial audit compliance, and project planning.

Steven began their career at Northgate Information Solutions as a 1st/2nd Line Support on a contract basis from July 2005 to December 2005. Steven also worked as an IT Support Engineer at PinkRoccade from June 2004 to July 2005.

Throughout their career, Steven has demonstrated expertise in IT and Information Security, focusing on compliance, risk assessment, innovation, and security operations.

Steven Dover, CISSP®, obtained their Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in October 2011. Prior to this, they attended the University of West London from 1998 to 1999, where they studied Information Technology. In 2012, Steven briefly attended Firebrand, although no degree or field of study is mentioned. Additionally, they hold various additional certifications, including Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) from Scrum.org, ITIL Foundation certification, and Duolingo German Fluency: Intermediate (Estimated).
