David Thomason

David Thomason has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and technology. David is currently serving as the WW Director of Alliances at Noname Security, where they are responsible for partnerships with major cloud platforms and global system integrators. Prior to this role, they were the WW Director of Solution Architects at the same company, where they established the team and developed the platform demonstration process.

Apart from their work at Noname Security, David has also worked as a Principal Analyst/Architect at NSS Labs, where they focused on providing valuable information to CISOs and Security Architects. David previously served as the Head of Enterprise Engagement at NSS Labs as well.

David is the President and Founder of their own company, Thomason Technologies, where they specialize in network security and industrial networks. With their extensive experience in the field, including their time as the Senior Director of Technical Services at Sourcefire and Vice President of Sales at SecureInfo, David brings operational experience, consulting expertise, and sales skills to their company.

Earlier in their career, David held management positions at Internet Security Systems, where they were the SE Director for the West and later became the Director of pre-sales security engineers in the Western United States. David also worked at AFCERT and Trident Data Systems, where they gained experience in incident response and project management.

David is also involved in non-profit work as the National Director Couple for MarriageRestored, a faith-based workshop that helps couples in crisis.

David Thomason attended Park College from 1990 to 1991, where they earned a B.S. degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended the University of Oregon in 1984 to 1985 and Columbia University in 1983 to 1984, both for Computer Science, although they did not earn a degree from either institution.
