Jana Reed

Jana Reed has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, particularly in leadership and operational roles. Jana is currently working as the Chief Operating Officer at the Nonprofit Finance Fund, where they help strengthen nonprofit organizations and promotes a more equitable social sector. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at iMentor, where they led various national teams. Jana has also worked as a consultant for organizations focused on creating diverse and integrated schools. Jana has a background in education and has held leadership positions at Citizens of the World Charter Schools and Ascend Learning. Additionally, they have experience in talent acquisition and business development, having worked at Commongood Careers and Building Excellent Schools. Earlier in their career, they served in a government role, overseeing the recruitment process for gubernatorial appointments in Massachusetts. Jana holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School.

Jana Reed completed their Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Harvard University in 2018. Jana pursued this degree from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, from 1990 to 2007, they attended Simmons University where they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. During their time at Simmons, they specialized in Political Science.
