Ryan Swindeman

Ryan Swindeman has a strong background in geophysics and machine learning. Ryan currently holds the position of Lead AI Engineer at Noonlight, starting in June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Enthought from an unknown start date to June 2021, where they developed Python and AWS-enabled applications focused on deep learning and predictive analytics for geoscience data. Before that, they were a Geophysicist at BHP from an unknown start date to 2018, where they worked on volume-risk-value assurance and utilized various software tools for seismic imaging and prospect identification. Ryan also gained experience as a Research Assistant at the Bureau of Economic Geology, ExxonMobil, Halliburton, and the Institute for Condensed Matter Theory. In these roles, they focused on processing/imaging geophysics, geophysical processing, and research and development in geophysics and condensed matter theory.

Ryan Swindeman completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the year 2013. Ryan then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree in Geophysics from The University of Texas at Austin, which they successfully completed in 2015.
