Mar Y Sol Alvarado

Mar Y Sol Alvarado is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business and program management. Currently serving as a Small Business Advisor at the Northern California SBDC since May 2022, Mar Y Sol has also held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Alro Window Coverings since August 2018, managing Alro Custom Drapery Installations, Inc. Furthermore, Mar Y Sol has a solid background in program direction, having worked as Program Director for Catholic Charities SF from June 2015 to July 2018 and for the Archdiocese of San Francisco from March 2009 to June 2015, specifically for the Saint Francis of Assisi Youth Club. Mar Y Sol holds a Master of Arts in Sociology from San Jose State University, with prior degrees in International Business and Business Administration from Menlo College.
