Joakim Scharp

Joakim Scharp currently serves as Department Manager at Norconsult AB, beginning in April 2023, leading a team of engineers and technical experts in water, wastewater, and climate projects for public and private sector clients. Prior roles include Group Manager for Water and Wastewater - Strategic Assessments at WSP from November 2019 to April 2023, and Water and Wastewater Engineer at WSP Sverige from August 2015 to November 2019. Joakim began professional development as an intern at Global Utmaning, a think-tank focused on democracy and sustainable development, from September 2011 to January 2012. Joakim holds a Master's Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Imperial College London, earned between 2009 and 2014.
