Bartosz Janeczek

Bartosz Janeczek has extensive experience in the field of data science and devops. Bartosz currently serves as the Data DevOps Lead at Nordcloud, an IBM Company. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the data devops processes.

Prior to their current position, Bartosz worked at Lingaro from 2013 to 2020. In their role as Data Science DevOps Team Leader, they led a team of 10 people and was responsible for their development, project assignments, performance, and wages. Bartosz focused on support projects and had experience in implementing business intelligence applications in a big international FMCG company.

From 2009 to 2013, Bartosz worked as a Consultant at Sygnity, where they worked on projects for the biggest Polish banks, particularly in the credit risk management area and regulatory reporting.

Before that, they worked at Positive Advisory as a Consultant from 2008 to 2009, where they were involved in the implementation of an Operational Risk Management Software for a major Polish bank.

Bartosz also worked at SAS Institute as a Consultant from 2006 to 2008, where they worked on projects related to financial risk management for the largest Polish banks. Bartosz was responsible for collecting client requirements, solution design and implementation, preparing reports, statistical models validation, end user training, and application administration.

Bartosz Janeczek completed their Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Warsaw University of Technology between 2002 and 2008. Bartosz then pursued another Master of Science degree in Quantitative Methods in Economics and Information Systems from SGH Warsaw School of Economics from 2008 to 2011. In addition to their academic qualifications, Bartosz has obtained several certifications, including Deep Learning Nanodegree Foundation from Udacity, ITIL Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice, and various SAS certifications. Bartosz also holds certifications in AWS, Google Cloud, and project management.
