Anna Starckman

Anna Starckman is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as a Senior Communications Adviser for The Nordic Council of Ministers and The Nordic Council since March 2023. With a robust background in journalism, Starckman worked as a News Journalist for SVT from May 2013 to March 2023, and held similar roles at Yle and Sveriges Radio earlier in the career. Additionally, Starckman contributed as an Author and Publishing Editor for the Wider Security Network, leading the publication of a significant book on Africa, Finland, Peace, and Security in early 2022. Starckman's educational credentials include a Master of Social Sciences in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Tampere and attendance at several prestigious universities, including Stockholm University, Aarhus University, Lund University, and Uppsala University.
