Tero Kangas

Tero Kangas is a seasoned engineering manager with extensive experience in digital integrated circuit development and system-on-chip design. Currently serving as the Principal Engineering Manager at Nordic Semiconductor since March 2022, Tero leads efforts in low-power IoT ASIC development focused on Cellular IoT. Prior to this, Tero held various positions at Nokia from 2006 to 2022, including SoC Validation Tribe Lead and SoC Program Manager, driving validation processes and managing SoC and software development for 5G and LTE base station products. Tero's experience also includes a role as Senior Project Manager at Renesas Mobile Corporation, overseeing modem processor system design for multi-mode modems, and a research position at Tampere University of Technology, contributing to platform-based SoC design. Tero holds a PhD and MSc in ASIC design and design methodologies from Tampere University of Technology.
