Fred Werbel

Fred Werbel is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in product management and technology across multiple industries. Currently serving as VP of Product Management for Store Experience, Payments, and Trust at Nordstrom since September 2023, Fred previously held roles at Zulily, including VP of Platform Technology and VP of Merch & Vendor Platform, where Fred focused on enhancing tools for merchandising. Prior experience at Expedia Group spanned a decade, with key positions such as VP of eCommerce Platform Product and Architecture, overseeing the development of unified eCommerce services, and VP of Financial & Core Transaction Services, leading large teams to improve transaction systems. Earlier roles at Amazon.com involved directing Global Finance Systems and managing the primary order pipeline. Fred’s career began at Washington Mutual and Daugherty Business Solutions, complemented by an executive education from Harvard Business School and a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Virginia.
