Mahesh Kumar Murugaiah

Mahesh Kumar Murugaiah is an experienced professional in the field of automation and process control. Currently serving as the Head of Advanced Process Control at Nordzucker AG since February 2015, Mahesh leads a digitalization project for a fully automated sugar factory, managing project charters, cross-functional communication, and milestone setting. Prior experience includes a role as a Master Thesis Student at ABB, where Mahesh focused on IEC61131-3-based Soft-PLC components for cloud systems, and a student internship involving the development of heuristics for scheduling problems. Earlier experience at Infosys as a System Engineer involved working with the Oracle E-Business Suite, specifically in order and warehousing management. Mahesh holds a Master's degree in Automation and Robotics from TU Dortmund and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Velammal Engineering College.
