João Elvas

João Elvas is an experienced professional in the field of mergers and acquisitions, currently serving as M&A Manager at Norfin (SGOIC & Serviços) since April 2024, following a progression from M&A Senior Associate. Prior experience includes roles as M&A Associate at Rovensa from April 2021 to February 2024 and various positions at BNP Paribas from September 2016 to December 2020, where João progressed from Corporate Finance Trainee to Corporate Finance Associate. Additionally, João began a career in financial audit as a Financial Audit Analyst at KPMG from September 2013 to June 2015. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Finance from Nova School of Business and Economics (2015-2017) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the same institution (2009-2013), along with an exchange program at Universidad de Montevideo in 2011-2012.
