Vanessa Yearick

Vanessa Yearick is an experienced educator and former legal professional with a diverse background in history education and corporate law. Since August 2020, Vanessa has served as a History Teacher at Norfolk Academy. Prior to this role, Vanessa held various positions at Williams Mullen from October 2015 to July 2020, including Partner and Associate. Vanessa's legal career began at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP & Affiliates, where roles included Associate in Corporate Finance and Summer Associate between 2003 and 2015. Additional legal experience includes a Summer Graduate Internship at the New York City Law Department in 2006. Vanessa earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
