Anders Blom has extensive work experience in the renewable energy sector. Anders currently holds a role as the Senior Vice President of Renewable Energy at Norfund, where they provide capital to projects and developers driving the energy transition in developing markets. Anders'sresponsibilities include overseeing solar, wind, storage, and hybrid ventures, as well as managing equity, debt, and funds. Anders focuses on regions such as Sub-Saharan Africa, South- and South East Asia, and Latin America. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Renewable Energy at Norfund and held positions as Senior Investment Manager and Investment Manager. Before joining Norfund, Anders worked as the Project Director at SN Power AS and as a Senior Energy Advisor at WWF-Norway. Anders also has experience at Statoil, where they worked as a Project Leader in Business Development, Business Developer in Renewable Energy, and Corporate Trainee in Energy Management. Anders started their career as an Operations Technician at Fortum and as a Systems Technician at AEC - Advanced Engineering Computation.
Anders Blom completed their education from 2000 to 2006 at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. During this time, they earned a Master of Science degree in Engineering with a specialization in Energy.
