Fay Chetnakarnkul has diverse work experience in the finance industry. Fay is currently a Director at BECIS - Commercial Industrial Solutions since 2023. Previously, they held roles at Norfund, starting as a Senior Investment Associate in 2005 and eventually becoming the Investment Director and Head of the Asia Region. During their time at Norfund, they were responsible for establishing and managing the Norfund Asia Office, expanding it into a team of 8 investment professionals and handling a portfolio of over $600 million with no defaults. Fay also served as a Director at National Development Bank PLC (NDB) from 2021 and at Yoma Bank from 2020, where they chaired the remuneration and compensation committee. Fay Chetnakarnkul obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Thammasat University from 1994 to 1998. Fay graduated with First-class Honor and received Excellent Academic Scholarship Awards, which covered their full tuition.
Later, from 1998 to 2000, Fay pursued a Master's Degree in Finance and Economics at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). Fay successfully completed their degree with distinction and was honored as a Freeman Fellow, which provided their with full tuition and stipends.
In addition to their formal education, Fay Chetnakarnkul has pursued further certifications. These include the Director Certification Program (DCP 184) from the Thailand Institute of Director and an ongoing MIT Fintech Certification Course.
