Phillip Shefter began their work experience in 1996 at Goldman Sachs, where they served as a Vice President until 2005. Phillip then joined BroadStreet Group as a Managing Director from 2005 to 2007. From 2007 to 2012, Shefter worked at Fortress Investment Group as a Managing Director and the Head of Global Capital Markets. Phillip then moved on to Cavalry Portfolio Services, where they served as the Director of Corporate Development from 2012 to 2015. In 2015, Shefter joined Capstone Investment Advisors as the Director and Head of Global Capital Markets for one year. Since 2016, they have been working at Norges Bank Investment Management, initially as a Portfolio Manager until 2020, then as a Senior Portfolio Manager until 2022, and currently as the Head of Equity Capital Markets and a Senior Portfolio Manager.
Phillip Shefter pursued their education in a chronological manner. Phillip began their academic journey in 1992 at Georgetown University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA). During their time at Georgetown University, their focus of study revolved around International Business and Finance. Following this, from 2001 to 2004, they attended NYU Stern School of Business, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance.
