Torje Engelsen

Torje Engelsen's work experience begins with their role as a Research Assistant at Norges Handelshøyskole, where they worked from November 2007 to May 2009. In this position, they focused on data collection and analysis specifically in the areas of private equity and venture capital.

Following this, Engelsen worked as a Senior Associate at PwC Norway from August 2009 to June 2014. During their time at PwC, they gained extensive experience in financial auditing of medium and large companies and groups, with a particular focus on auditing property groups consisting of multiple SP companies. Torje also gained expertise in the transition to fair value within IAS 40 and revenue recognition according to IFRIC 15. Engelsen participated in training courses on forensic audit through PwC Oslo's investigation department and was involved in conducting extended audit procedures aimed at suspected misconduct in the public sector.

Engelsen's most recent role has been at Norges Bank Investment Management, where they have been employed since July 2014. Torje started as an Analyst in Real Estate Finance and later became a Senior Financial Controller in the same department. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Analyst Fund Accounting.

Torje Engelsen's education history begins in 2004 when they started their Bachelor's degree in International Business Studies at Paderborn University. Torje completed this degree in 2006. After that, in 2006-2007, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business Administration at Nottingham Trent University.

Following their undergraduate education, Torje Engelsen enrolled at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in 2007 to pursue a Master's degree in Finance, which they completed in 2009. During the same time period, they also attended Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, where they obtained a second Master's degree in Finance, completing it in 2009.

In 2010-2011, Torje Engelsen attended BI Norwegian Business School for a Master of Arts degree in Professional Accountancy.

Aside from their formal education, Torje Engelsen also acquired the Statutory Auditor certification from Finanstilsynet (FSA Norway) in December 2013.
