Svein-Hugo Nilsen

Svein-Hugo Nilsen is an experienced professional with a diverse background in the maritime and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as Operation Superintendent at Norled AS since June 2009, Svein-Hugo oversees the operations of ferries in Oslo. Previously, as the owner of Nova Kon AS from 1999 to May 2023, Svein-Hugo operated as a shipowner and captain. A key account manager from January 1998 to January 2005 at a database provider, responsibilities included managing a database of healthcare professionals across Norway. Earlier career experience includes serving as a product manager at Schering from January 1991 to January 1998, focusing on the sales and marketing of pharmaceuticals. Svein-Hugo holds a Master's degree in Maritime Studies from the University of South-Eastern Norway and foundational studies in Medicine from UiT - The Arctic University of Norway.
