Jouni Määttänen

Jouni Määttänen has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Jouni currently holds the position of Director of Project Management at Normet Group, starting in April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Sourcing Manager for New Product Development at Normet Oy.

Before joining Normet, Määttänen served as a Senior Manager for Roll and Headbox Purchases at Valmet from August 2020 to April 2022.

Earlier in their career, Määttänen worked at AGCO Corporation in various roles, including Manager of Regional NPD Purchasing EME & Purchasing Global - Series Program from September 2018 to August 2020, Manager of NPD/Adv. Purchasing from October 2014 to August 2018, and Procurement Manager for Valtra Service from December 2010 to September 2014.

Määttänen also has experience at Scanfil plc, where they served as a Commodity Buyer from November 2004 to March 2007. In this role, they were involved in commercial and contractual negotiations, supplier management, and cost savings for commodities such as E&E parts and metal fabrication parts.

Jouni Määttänen obtained a Procurement Diploma in Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions and Contracts Management from JAMK University of Applied Sciences in 2021. In 2018, they acquired a Specialist Qualification in Management from Rastor-instituutti, specializing in Leadership. Additionally, in 2011, they completed a Purchasing degree in Purchasing/Procurement/Acquisitions and Contracts Management from Markkinointi-instituutti.
