Mika Hyysti

Mika Hyysti currently serves as the Head of Xrock R&D and Technology Centre at Normet Group since October 2024. Prior to this role, Mika was the Head of Business at Oiva Wood Solutions Oy from March 2023 to September 2024, where leadership focused on the wood element business and operations for Puumerkki Group. From April 1995 to March 2023, Mika held various key positions at Raute Oyj, including Executive Vice President and CTO, overseeing technology management, product development, and digitalization initiatives. Additional roles at Raute included Technology Manager, where Mika was responsible for global automation technology and products, as well as R&D Manager and Engineering Manager. Early career at Raute Wood Oy began as an Automation Engineer from June 1990 to March 1995. Educational background includes IDBM Pro and studies at KyAMK University of Applied Sciences.
