Sidney Gonçalves

Sidney Gonçalves has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles. Sidney is currently the Head of Finance at Normet Group, where they are responsible for various financial, legal, HR, and ICT aspects of the Brazilian subsidiary. Sidney has successfully implemented financial process restructuring, commercial and marketing planning, and identified opportunities for EBITDA growth and operational cash flow improvements. Prior to this, Sidney worked as the CFO and Local Compliance Officer for SMS GmbH at Vetta, where they played a key role in the merger between Vetta Tecnologia SA and SMS group GmbH. Sidney also served as a Senior Finance Manager at CNH Industrial, where they significantly improved MC and EBITDA through a turnaround process and effectively managed restructuring efforts. Additionally, Sidney has held positions at Alicorp, Vetta Group, CNH Latin America Ltda, Hermes Pardini Institute, Empresa de Cimentos Liz S.A, and Fundação Hospitalar do Estado de Minas Gerais (FHEMIG), showcasing their diverse expertise in financial planning, implementation of controllerships, accounting, and auditing.

Sidney Gonçalves obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from PUC Minas, where they studied between 2005 and 2010. Sidney further pursued their education at Fundação Dom Cabral from 2016 to 2018, earning an Executive MBA in Business and Finance.
