Stig Hamre

Stig Hamre has extensive work experience in the information systems and technology field. Stig started their career at Hydro Aluminium in 1996, where they held various roles such as Casthouse Controller and SAP Finance Consultant. From 2000 to 2001, they served as the Head of Application Management. In 2001, they became the Head of Architecture Management within the Information Systems department. In 2005, they transitioned to Hydro Aluminium as the Head of Consulting within the Information Systems department until 2011. Since 2011, Stig has worked at Norsk Hydro, starting as the Head of Applications Downstream. Stig later became the Principal Lead Business Solutions at GBS IT, and currently holds the position of Head of SAP Product Management.

Stig Hamre completed their education with a Lic.-Oec. Int degree in International Trade & Finance from the University of Konstanz in 1995. Prior to that, they obtained a Siviløkonom degree in Finance and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) between 1990 and 1994. In 1989, they began their education at the University of Bergen, where they pursued a Law Basis degree for a year.
