Steven Brooks

Steven Brooks is a Senior Researcher at Norsk institutt for vannforskning (NIVA), where responsibilities include the development and application of biomarker tools for biological effects research and monitoring, as well as the application of bioassays for the risk assessment of environmental chemicals. Prior to this role, Steven was a researcher at CEFAS, focusing on the biological effects of environmental contaminants with particular interest in the effects of copper in the marine environment. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Ecophysiology and Toxicology from Nottingham Trent University, an MSc in Applied Marine Science from the University of Plymouth, and a BSc in Marine Biology from the University of Liverpool.
