Stein Willy Andreassen has a strong background in the telecommunications industry. Stein Willy started their career at Telenor R&D as an Engineer and Research Scientist in 1995. Stein Willy then worked as a Technical Advisor at Viag Intercom (now mmO2 Germany) in Munich, Germany from 1997 to 1998. Stein Willy later joined Telenor Mobil in Norway as a Senior Engineer from 1998 to 2001. Andreassen then worked as a Technical Advisor at OniWay in Lisbon, Portugal from 2001 to 2002. Stein Willy joined Telenor ASA in 2009 as a Senior Advisor for Global Coordination and later became the Director of Network Operating Models from 2010 to 2013. Most recently, Andreassen has been working at Norsk Tipping as the Head of Business Management and as the Chief Financial Officer since October 2015.
Stein Willy Andreassen pursued their education in a chronological order. Stein Willy started their academic journey in 1988 at Sør-Trøndelag University College (HiST), where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in 1991. Following this, they attended the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 1991 to 1993, earning a Master of Science degree in Telecommunication and Information Technology. Andreassen's education continued at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), where they completed their studies from 2004 to 2006, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
