Jim Cox

Jim Cox has extensive experience in the field of technology and education. Jim started their career as a Computer/Business Education Teacher at Avella Area School District, where they taught various classes and modernized the curriculum for the Business Education Department. Jim then worked as a Software Developer/Consultant at PT Marketing Group, where they planned and wrote software to automate business workflow. Following that, they joined Blackhawk School District as a Computer Science/Information Technology Teacher, teaching a range of computer science classes. Jim also served as the Director of Technology at Blackhawk, responsible for planning and executing IT functions and managing a budget. Currently, Jim is the Director of Technology and Innovation at North Allegheny School District, overseeing technology functions for a large student and employee population across multiple locations and working on strategic planning and vision for district technology.
