Director Of Solution Support at North American Mission Board

Steve Bean has over 20 years of experience in the field of technology services. Steve started their career as a Systems Engineer at Urban Media in 2000, where they designed and implemented a corporate-wide VPN solution and supported a 500-node Ethernet LAN/WAN network. In 2001, they joined the North American Mission Board as a Technology Services Manager, leading a team of engineers and implementing best practice policies for network security and administration. Steve then founded their own company, Pilgrim Networks, LLC, where they served as the Owner/Engineer and specialized in disaster recovery solutions and data migration projects. Most recently, they returned to the North American Mission Board as Director of Solution Support, where they have been responsible for providing solutions architecture and managing network services.

Steve Bean earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) from the University of Phoenix from 2000 to 2003. Recently, from 2019 to 2021, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at LSU Shreveport. In September 2021, they obtained the CompTIA Security+ (SY0-601) Cert Prep: The Basics certification from LinkedIn.
