Ernesto Flores

Ernesto Flores is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in stamping processes and mechanical design. Currently serving as a Stamping Project Engineer at North American Stamping Group since June 2019, Ernesto specializes in APQP tracking, design reviews, and engineering change coordination, utilizing software tools such as NX and AutoCAD. Previous roles include Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Metalsa, where Ernesto focused on progressive die design and tool optimization, and Mechanical Design Engineer at Magna International, responsible for welding fixture design and ergonomic assessments. Ernesto holds a Mechatronic Engineer degree from Unidad Profesional Interdisciplinaria en Ingeniería y Tecnologías Avanzadas and several certifications, including a Mechanical Designer Tool & Metal Stamping Processes Certification from Tecnológico de Monterrey and NX Designer Certified Professional from Siemens Professional Education.
