Elena Kolb

Elena Kolb is a seasoned family physician with extensive experience gained at North Bay Regional Health Centre since 2006, where responsibilities include serving as a primary surgical assistant in General and Orthopedic surgery and providing OB/GYN and on-call surgical assistance. Additionally, Elena held the position of Assistant Professor at Northern Ontario School of Medicine from 2008 to 2019, instructing family medicine residents and medical students, leading clinical simulations, and conducting CARMS interviews. At Blue Sky FHT, also from 2006 to 2019, Elena delivered comprehensive care for complex cases in various medical settings, while previously practicing rheumatology and internal medicine at 1st Municipal Clinical Hospital between 1987 and 2002. Elena's educational background includes a Family Medicine degree from the University of Ottawa and medical training from Belarusian State Medical University, where degrees in Internal Medicine Residency and Medicine were attained.
