Kristen Vaughan

Kristen Vaughan has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Kristen is currently the Wave 2/Phase 2 Site Lead for the Regional One Project at North Bay Regional Health Centre (NBRHC), where they are responsible for leading the implementation of the project. Prior to this role, Kristen served as the Manager of Information Systems & Informatics at NBRHC. Additionally, they were the Site Lead for Health Information System (HIS) Transformation Physician Experience, where they played a key role in implementing new systems and processes. Kristen also worked as the Physician Engagement Quality Coordinator, focusing on physician engagement initiatives. Kristen's career at NBRHC started in 2006 as the Medical Affairs Liaison/Physician Recruitment Specialist, where they promoted and marketed the community as an attractive place for physicians to work and implemented effective recruitment strategies. In addition to their healthcare roles, Kristen worked as a part-time professor at Canadore College from 2011 to 2012.

Kristen Vaughan completed their education from 1995 to 2000 at St. Joseph-Scollard Hall. Kristen then pursued a degree in Recreation and Leisure Services at Canadore College from 2001 to 2003. Following this, Kristen attended Brock University from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Recreation and Leisure Services (Hons). Later, they enrolled in Athabasca University, where they studied Health Studies from 2008 to 2012 and earned a Master's degree (MHST).

In addition to their formal education, Kristen Vaughan has also acquired several certifications. In December 2016, they obtained the Six Sigma Black Belt Professional (SSBBP) certification from the Management and Strategy Institute. Prior to that, in June 2015, they received the Lean Health Care Green Belt certification from KPMG.
