Chrystal Regan has a diverse work experience in the field of education and history. Chrystal currently serves as the Chief Education Officer of the North Carolina Museum of History since July 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a High School Social Studies Teacher in the Wake County Public School System from August 2014 to July 2020. Chrystal also pursued their graduate studies at North Carolina State University, specializing in History, from August 2012 to December 2017. Before that, they worked in Training and Development from 2004 to 2013, where they conducted presentations, workshops, and conferences. Chrystal has also served as an Assistant Principal in the Wake County Public School System from August 2006 to August 2012. Chrystal's experience also includes being a Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from October 2005 to July 2006. Chrystal started their career as a Social Studies Teacher in the Wake County Public School System from August 2001 to June 2005 and also participated in the International Student Teaching Program as an International Student Teacher from February 2001 to April 2001.
Chrystal Regan obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in History from North Carolina State University in the year 2017. Prior to this, they completed a Master's degree in Secondary School Administration/Principalship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2007. Chrystal'sundergraduate education was pursued at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in History and Secondary Education in 2001.
