Elisabeth Muehlemann

Elisabeth Muehlemann is a skilled professional with extensive experience in economic development and community outreach. Currently serving as a Business Services and Sector Partnerships Support Specialist at the North Carolina Department of Commerce since October 2023, Elisabeth previously held key roles at Empire State Development, including Economic Development Program Specialist 2 and Business Outreach Associate, focusing on connecting Long Island businesses to state resources. Elisabeth’s background includes serving as a Community Liaison at CSPM Group, where efforts were made to align a local revitalization project with community needs, and as a Communications and Outreach Coordinator at the Long Island Volunteer Center, managing digital communications and post-disaster volunteer coordination. Additional experience includes coordinating programs for Vision Long Island and internships focusing on sustainability and environmental initiatives.
