Heather Jackson, CPA

Heather Jackson, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Heather began their career as an intern at TRP CPAs, PLLC in December 2012, where they gained experience in tax return preparation, payroll reports, and bookkeeping using ProSystem fx software. Heather then worked as an Administrative Assistant at Diversified Service Contracting, Inc between November 2011 and September 2015, assisting with payroll processing, accounts payable, filing, and personnel file maintenance.

In 2014, they served as a Graduate Assistant at NC State University, followed by a position as an Audit Senior at Elliott Davis from July 2017 to September 2018. At Elliott Davis, they gained expertise in auditing procedures and financial reporting.

From September 2018 to January 2022, Heather worked as a Senior Accountant at MDO Holdings, where they contributed to financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Accountant at NORTH CAROLINA HOUSING FINANCE AGENCY, commencing in January 2022.

Throughout their career, Heather has demonstrated strong accounting skills, including tax preparation, auditing, financial analysis, and reporting. Heather is proficient in using ProSystem fx Tax software and has developed expertise in various accounting functions.

Heather Jackson, CPA, earned their Master's Degree in Accounting from North Carolina State University, where they studied from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting at Campbell University, attending from 2010 to 2014.

Additionally, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners in November 2016.
