Elizabeth Surratt

Elizabeth Surratt is a data analyst currently working at the North Carolina Joint Underwriting Association and the North Carolina Insurance Underwriting Association since June 2023. Previously, Elizabeth served as a research assistant for the Appalachian State HR Science Research Team from August 2021 to May 2022, where responsibilities included analyzing large datasets, utilizing R for safety data analysis, and conducting literature reviews. Elizabeth also has experience as a manager and lifeguard at Pool Pros Inc. from May 2015 to August 2021, where duties involved managing motor and filtration systems, training new hires, and conducting chemical tests. Elizabeth holds a degree in Psychology and Business with a minor in Statistics from Appalachian State University (2018-2022) and completed additional studies at the Institute for Advanced Analytics (June 2022 - May 2023).
