Wale Ejire has been working in the membership management field for over a decade. Wale started their career as an assistant director of the annual fund at Bridgewater College. In this role, they developed and executed a solicitation calendar that effectively utilized all forms of annual giving solicitations. Wale also managed all components of direct mail for the Office of Institutional Advancement.
In September 2020, they left Bridgewater College to become the membership manager at North Carolina Museum of Art. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the museum’s membership program and managing all aspects of member communications. Wale also works closely with the museum’s development team to ensure that members are being properly stewardsed and that their contributions are maximized.
Wale is a highly effective fundraiser with a proven track record of success in both annual giving and membership management. Wale is passionate about the arts and believes that everyone should have access to quality art education and experiences.

Wale started off by completing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from William Peace University. Wale then went on to do a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA in Marketing from North Carolina State University. Finally, they completed a Study Abroad/ Cultural Exchange program at Xinjiang University.
They work with Maggie Gregory - Manager of Collections & Head Registrar, Johnny Burleson - Chief Advancement Officer, and Moses T. Alexander Greene - Director of Film & Performing Arts. Wale Ejire reports to Valerie Hillings, Director & CEO.
