Jorge Otañez, MD

Dr. Jorge Otañez has a strong background in the medical field, with experience in various leadership and clinical roles. Jorge started their career at UC San Diego Health, where they worked as a Resident Physician from July 2015 to June 2018.

In 2018, Dr. Otañez joined Borrego Health as a Family Medicine Physician and later took on additional responsibilities as the Chief Medical Officer from June 2021 to June 2022. During their time at Borrego Health, they also served as the Adult Medicine Department Chair from January 2019 to June 2021.
