Julie Kapsalis

Julie Kapsalis serves as the Chief Executive and Principal at North East Surrey College of Technology (NESCOT) since April 2022, previously holding roles as Acting CEO and Principal, and Commercial Director. Kapsalis has been involved with Coast to Capital LEP as Chair since October 2013 and has held the position of Vice Chair. Kapsalis contributed as a Board Member at the Institute of Economic Development from April 2017 to November 2022, and as Group Managing Director and Deputy CEO for Chichester College Group from August 2017 to April 2022, overseeing a variety of commercial ventures. A Vice Principal at Chichester College from August 2014 to August 2020, Kapsalis also chaired the Chichester Chamber of Commerce & Industry and directed Business Development & Employer Engagement at Guildford College until August 2014. Previous experience includes partnership at Avanti HR Consulting and management of Olympic Legacy programs for London 2012. Kapsalis holds a degree in English and English Literature from the University of Exeter.
