Alaine Christian

Alaine Christian is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the IB Diploma Programme Coordinator at North London Collegiate School Dubai and functioning as an NPQ Facilitator at IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society. With a strong background in humanities and social studies, Alaine has held key leadership roles including Head of Individuals and Societies Faculty at Uptown International School and Head of Humanities and Social Studies at the British International School of Chicago. Previous experience includes leading various humanities departments at Lordswood Girls’ School, serving as an examiner for Pearson, and managing political investigations as Editor in Chief at Active Education. Alaine holds multiple degrees in education and leadership, including a National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership from UCL and a Bachelor's degree in War, Peace and International Relations from the University of Reading.
