Karen Faber

Karen Faber has a diverse work experience, starting as a Business Owner at Shumba Marketing CC from 2004 to 2011. Karen then worked as an Office and Administration Manager at The British School of Lome in 2012. After that, they became the Marketing and Development Manager at the same school from July to December 2012. Karen also worked as a Marketing, Admissions & Communications Manager at Rosemount International School from March 2017 to May 2018. Karen then joined Middleton International School as a Parent Liaison Executive from June 2018 to July 2019. Karen was later promoted to Parent Liaison Manager from August 2019 to December 2020, and then to Senior Parent Liaison Manager from January 2021 to June 2022. Currently, Karen is working at North London Collegiate School (Singapore) as the Admissions Manager since July 2022, and they will transition to the role of Head of Admissions in October 2023. Throughout their career, Karen has demonstrated their expertise in admissions management, marketing, communications, and building strong relationships with families.

Karen Faber attended Damelin in 1997 where they studied Public Relations and Business Communications. Karen does not have a specified degree from this institution. In addition to their education, they obtained several certifications including OpenApply Admissions Conference Singapore 2023 from Faria Events in November 2023 and three certifications from Tes in October 2022: Case Study 2: Hacking (Online Safety) (Age 11-16 years), Child Protection for International Schools, and Trauma-Informed Practice in International Schools.
