Mark Dickenson

Mark Dickenson is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in local government finance. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Finance and Strategy at North Northamptonshire Council since April 2021, Mark previously held the position of Head of Resources at Kettering Borough Council since August 2005 and worked as the Principal Accountant at East Northants Council from September 2002 to August 2005. Mark has a strong background in financial planning and modelling, with a focus on leading financial strategy and coordinating the budget process for the General Fund while producing corporate budgetary control reports for senior management. Mark holds a CIPFA degree in Accounting from the University of Nottingham, completed from 1998 to 2002, and attended Robert Smyth Market Harborough from 1989 to 1991.
