Joshua Altmann has a comprehensive work experience in the field of engineering. Joshua is currently working as a Lead Engineer at North Oil Company Qatar. Prior to this, they worked at Worley as a Senior Associate Asset Integrity and Chief Structural (Offshore) Engineer. In these roles, they managed a structural engineering and design group, specializing in Brownfield services and advanced analyses. Joshua also provided remote support for asset integrity assessments.
Before joining Worley, Joshua worked at Advisian, a division of WorleyParsons, as a Principal Integrity Engineer. Joshua'sresponsibilities included leading offshore structural analysis and integrity projects, teaching and developing younger engineers, and managing workshare with the WorleyParsons Qatar office.
Joshua also gained valuable experience at WorleyParsons as a Principal Integrity Engineer. Joshua was involved in business development, educating customers about advanced structural integrity assessments and the development of RBI and CBM programs.
Earlier in their career, Joshua worked at Wood Group PSN as a Principal Engineering Analyst, conducting seismic analysis and FEA of semi-rigid bolted connections. Joshua also worked at Wood Group E&PF Australia as a Principal Engineering Analyst, performing miscellaneous FEA projects.
Joshua's background also includes roles at Solar Systems, Mustang Engineering, and Vipac Engineers and Scientists. Joshua held positions such as Senior Mechanical Engineer, Senior Engineering Analyst, and Senior Project Engineer - Structural Dynamics. In these roles, they worked on various projects across transportation, military, nuclear, and mining sectors.
Joshua Altmann attended Monash University from 1989 to 1999, where they obtained a PhD, BSci, and BEng in Mechanical Engineering.
