Samy Arfaoui has extensive experience in HVAC engineering, with a focus on leading and supervising projects. Samy started their career at Johnson Controls in 1999, where they participated in new product development and designed refrigeration systems. Samy then worked at Carrier Commercial Refrigeration as an HVAC engineer, overseeing after-sales support and coordinating spare parts. In 2007, Samy joined Yemen LNG Company as an HVAC specialist, responsible for construction oversight and ensuring compliance with engineering standards. Samy later joined PTTEP as an HVAC engineer, contributing to the development of the Bongkot Phase 4 project. Samy then worked at TOTAL as a lead HVAC engineer, taking charge of engineering, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities for the OFON 2 project in Nigeria. Samy later joined INPEX as an HVAC superintendent, overseeing HVAC operations until 2018. Samy'smost recent role was at South Tambey LNG as an HVAC lead engineer before joining North Oil Company Qatar in 2018 as a lead HVAC engineer.
Samy Arfaoui has a Master's degree in Project Management from EDHEC Business School. In addition, they also hold a Master's degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering Technology/Technician and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in HVAC & R from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers.
