Souad Aqeel

Souad Aqeel has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Souad started their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at Texas A&M University at Qatar in 2011, where they gained research experience. In 2014, they moved on to Maersk Oil Qatar, where they worked as a Technical Support Engineer and later as a Junior Network Engineer until 2017. Souad then joined North Oil Company Qatar in 2017 as a Network Engineer, before transitioning to the role of Digital Business Analyst in 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Project Lead at North Oil Company Qatar, starting in May 2023.

Souad Aqeel has a diverse education history. Souad obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University at Qatar, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Digital Humanities and Societies at Hamad Bin Khalifa University from 2018 to 2020, focusing on humanities and humanistic studies.

In addition to their academic achievements, Souad Aqeel has also pursued various certifications to enhance their professional skills. Souad obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from North Oil Company Qatar in July 2022. In March 2022, they earned the Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) designation from Simplilearn. Souad also holds a Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals certification obtained from Microsoft in June 2021. Furthermore, they became a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) through the Scrum Alliance in September 2020. Finally, in August 2020, they completed the "Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)" course on Coursera.
