Torsten Kvist Terslov

Torsten Kvist Terslov has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Torsten started their career at DNV KEMA as an Onshore & Offshore DNV Surveyor, where they verified the design and compliance of electrical and instrument installations and safety systems for various operators. Torsten then joined Maersk Oil, initially working as a Site Instrument Engineer, and later taking on roles as a Project Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, and Senior Project Engineer. At Maersk Oil, they were involved in project completions, maintenance, and project management. Torsten'sresponsibilities included leading teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring project success. Currently, Torsten is employed at North Oil Company Qatar as Lead Brownfield Projects. Overall, Torsten has extensive experience in project engineering, maintenance, and leadership roles within the oil and gas industry.

Torsten Kvist Terslov pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their certification as a Certified Electrician from Rybners in 1989. Torsten then went on to obtain an AP Degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Offshore EX installations, from Erhvervsakademi SydVest in 1991-1992. In 1993, they completed a degree in Automation Engineering from Erhvervsakademi SydVest, focusing on Automation and Process Control Engineering.

In 2012, Torsten attended The George Washington University School of Business, where they earned a degree as a Project Engineer with a specialization in Project Management. Additionally, they have completed several engineering courses at Teknologisk Institut, focusing on Machine Directive, IEC 60079, and IEC 60439.

Torsten Kvist Terslov has also obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Torsten became a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) Certification holder from North Oil Company Qatar in October 2019. In April 2018, they earned the Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certified (SSYBC) from the Management and Strategy Institute. In December 2017, they achieved the Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certified (LSSWB)™ from the same institution. Finally, in October 2016, Torsten earned their PMP Certificate from The Knowledge Academy.
