Viktor Gergert

Viktor Gergert's work experience includes various roles in IT and business analysis roles. Viktor began their career at Karachaganak Petroleum Operating b.v., where they served as an IT Applications Specialist and later as an IT Systems Analyst. Viktor was responsible for gathering user requirements, implementing software systems, and ensuring documentation completion. Viktor also led the implementation of the HR system and RFID-based Canteen Access Management software.

Afterwards, Gergert joined Qatar Petroleum as a Business Systems Analyst. Viktor performed expert analysis and evaluation of technical solutions and drove the implementation of the EverTeam Event Management System. Viktor also redesigned business processes for migration to a centralized web solution.

Gergert then moved to Gazprom Neft as a Senior Business Analyst. Viktor was responsible for business analysis in the Upstream Directorate, including analyzing business initiatives, eliciting requirements, and ensuring the quality and suitability of delivered solutions.

In their next role at Luxoft, Gergert served as a Senior Analyst and Product Owner. Viktor managed the prioritized backlog of product development for an investment bank, collaborating with business owners and tracking the progress of development.

Most recently, Gergert joined North Oil Company Qatar as a Senior Application Engineer and IT Business Partner for the Drilling and Wells department. Viktor oversees the evaluation and prioritization of business initiatives, manages software implementation and improvement projects, and handles budget planning and control. Viktor has also co-led the implementation project of a company-wide production data management system.

Throughout their career, Gergert has demonstrated expertise in project management, requirements analysis, and software implementation, contributing to the successful completion of IT projects and process improvements.

Viktor Gergert obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technologies from West-Kazakhstan Engineering and Humanities University, where they studied from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming from Orenburg State University (OSU) between 1998 and 2002.

In addition to their degrees, Viktor Gergert has obtained several certifications. Viktor is a Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, certified by Scaled Agile, Inc. in February 2019. In February 2007, they earned the Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN. In July 2006, they obtained the Business Analysis Certified Professional certification from the LearningTree Management Institute. Finally, in August 2003, Viktor Gergert became a Microsoft Certified Professional, certified by Microsoft.
