Rodrigo Meireles

Rodrigo Meireles has a vast and extensive work experience in the sailing industry. Rodrigo began their career in 1989 as a Production Manager and Designer at Velas Ullman, where they worked until 1993. Rodrigo then joined Diamond Sailmakers / North Diamond in Brazil as an Operations Partner for three years. In 1996, they transitioned to North Sails and took on various roles such as One Design Development - Production Supervisor, Sail Designer, and Sailmaking Director for North America and Sri Lanka. Currently, Rodrigo holds the position of Global Manufacturing Director at North Sails.

Rodrigo Meireles completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Structural Engineering from Universidade Santa Úrsula from 1986 to 1989. Prior to that, they studied Economics at Universidade Federal Fluminense from 1984 to 1985, although it is not indicated whether they obtained a degree in this field.
