Dr. Bobby Bolen

Dr. Bobby Bolen has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Dr. Bobby started their career at Oseola County Schools in 2007 as an Administrative Dean. Dr. Bobby then moved on to Bering Strait School District in 2008, where they served as a Principal and later as an Interim Superintendent. In 2015, Dr. Bolen joined BSSD as a Superintendent and held the position until 2022. Dr. Bobby also served as the President of Alaska Superintendents Association from 2021 to 2022. Currently, Dr. Bolen is employed as the Director of Human Resources at North Slope Borough School District, and they will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer in July 2023.

Dr. Bobby Bolen completed their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership at the University of Central Florida from 2001 to 2007.
