Lucy Harris is an experienced marketing and communications professional with a diverse background spanning over a decade. Currently serving as a Marketing and Communications Officer at North Somerset Council since November 2021, Lucy leads communications for the Placemaking and Heritage & Design teams, specifically on Levelling Up funded projects and Birnbeck Pier. Previously, Lucy held roles at Somerset County Council as the Communications Officer for children's services and at Central Facilities Group as Fleet & Systems Manager before redundancy due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Additional experiences include various marketing and public relations positions at reputable organizations such as the University of Bristol and Atkins. Lucy holds a BA (Hons) in Public Relations with Leisure and Tourism from the University of Exeter and recently completed the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification at the University of the West of England.
