Sarah Turkowski

Sarah Turkowski is a skilled graphic designer, artist, and instructor with extensive experience in visual arts and design. Currently serving as a Graphic Designer and Art Instructor at North Suburban YMCA since January 2014, Sarah designs and instructs both digital and traditional art courses. In addition, Sarah operates Sarah Turkowski Art & Design, delivering artistic and illustrative services since March 2020. Previous roles include Graphic Designer positions at J.S. Paluch and Apex Design Build, where Sarah managed various aspects of project design, marketing, and social media. At Concept Schools, Sarah enhanced marketing materials to support business growth and coordinated photography for events. Early career experience includes lifeguarding at the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago and sign design at Evanston Signs. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from the American Academy of Art, earned in 2013.
