Coordinator For Boston Emergency Service’s Developmental Disabilities Team at North Suffolk Community Services

Demi Ruder, LICSW, currently serves as the Coordinator for Boston Emergency Service’s Developmental Disabilities Team at North Suffolk Mental Health Association, specializing in emergency psychiatric evaluations and mental health referrals for clients in crisis. With a Master of Social Work from Salem State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern Maine, Demi has prior experience as an Emergency Services Clinician at North Shore Physicians Group, where biopsychosocial assessments were conducted to address health impacts from psychosocial factors. Additional internship experiences include improving access to resources at Southern Maine Agency on Aging and establishing a pet therapy program at The Stewart Center, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing client support and care.
